Joe Daniels (drummer)

Joe Daniels (August 4, 1970) is an American rock drummer best known as the ex-drummer for Local H.

Local H

In 1987, while attending high school in Zion, IL Daniels and Scott Lucas, eventually formed Local H in 1990. Local H was originally a three-piece band which consisted Joe Daniels on drums, Scott Lucas on vocals and guitar, and Matthew Garcia on bass. In 1993 Matt Garcia left the band. Lucas and Daniels continued the band with Lucas having a highschool friend modify his guitar by adding a bass pick-up.

Daniels played one of his last shows with Local H by headlining Summerfest in Milwaukee in June 1999. Daniels' last show was at The Metro in Chicago.

Post Local H

Daniels was in the band Stendec from 1999 to 2001 when the band disbanded. From 2001 to 2004 Daniels was a founding member of The Black Panels. From 2005 to 2007 Daniels worked with the band Bruiser and recorded and album with them.

Daniels married in 2006 and had a son in 2007. After their son, Daniels and his wife opened a boutique in a Chicago suburb and in 2009 started a children's T-shirt line.
